I am a Japanese-American dance artist, choreographer, and educator based in Brooklyn, NY. I highlight, yet distort, the human anatomy through contemporary dance techniques, kinesthetic imagery, and improvisation. Continuously seeking to connect to my distant ancestry, my work embodies the complexities and struggles of my female lineage under patriarchy in Japan and the West.

I have been invited to teach or choreograph for ​the Limon Dance Company Summer Intensive, BigKid Summer and Winter Create + ​Connect, Gibney Dance Summer Studies, DISCO RIOT, and FORZA Dance.

Since earning my BFA from Point Park University in 2019, I have been a company member with Sidra Bell Dance New York (SBDNY). In 2022, I was appointed Rehearsal Director. With the company, I have taught at institutions such as Harvard University, ​The Juilliard School, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, University of the Arts, SUNY ​Purchase, and more.
